Today is World Hindi Day.Now we will discuss about World Hindi Day, It's a pleasure for us about the importance and respect of Hindi in the world. 

The objective of celebrating this day is to create awareness in the world for the promotion of Hindi and strengthen Hindi as an international language. 

Programs are organized around the world on the occasion of World Hindi Day. Unique programs for Hindi on various topics are organized in all government offices. 

In the year 1975, the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi inaugurated the first World Hindi Conference.
Since 1975, World Hindi Conference has been organized in various countries like India, Mauritius, United Kingdom, Trinidad and Tobago, United States. Let us know, World Hindi Day was celebrated on January 10, 2006 for the first time. Since then it is celebrated every year on 10th January.



 Why the National Hindi Day is celebrated?


Actually, we should remember that World Hindi Day and National Hindi Diwas are completely different. When India became independent in 1947, it was the biggest question about language in front of him. Because hundreds of languages ​​and dialects are spoken in India. 

Constitution was formed on December 6, 1946, to prepare the constitution of independent India. 

The Constituent Assembly approved its final draft of the constitution on November 26, 1949. Actually, as we know that our Constitution of Independent India basically came into force on 26th January 1950.
But which issue of the national language of India will be selected? This issue was very important. After considerable thinking, Hindi and English were chosen as the new nation's language. 

The Constituent Assembly accepted Hindi as the official language of the nation with the English written in the Devanagari script. 

On 14 September 1949, the Constituent Assembly decided by a vote that Hindi was the official language of India.

The country's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru said that considering the significance of this day, every year on September 14, Hindi Diwas will be celebrated.
