Today, we will discuss a gadget launched by OnePlus.I hope, you will understand all the features and specifications of these phones. 14 April 2020, the Chinese Phone Maker, OnePlus announces its two latest phones; OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro in an online event. 

The models are a follow up to the OnePlus 7 and the company announced the two flagship phones after companies like Xiaomi have also pressed ahead with their recent launches despite supply disruptions amidst the coronavirus outbreak. 

Sales in Canada and the US will begin on April 29 on the official website, OnePlus.com. however, in Europe, pre-orders have been made available and the phone goes on sale on April 21. And also, for the first time ever, Amazon is set to sell the OnePlus phones at launch, i.e. on 29 April.

Despite various leaks and rumors, the two models have been finally revealed and are everything that diligent users had hoped they would be. They two phones were unveiled in a live-streamed event and look absolutely stunning. Flashy colors, new and improved cameras, and 5G connectivity, the phones are expected to gain more popularity than even the iPhone. 

The starting price for OnePlus 8 is $699 and for the 8 Pro, it is $899. In Indian currency, the pricing is Rs.53,200 for OnePlus 8 and Rs. 68,400 for the OnePlus 8 Pro. While most features are the same in both phones, the 8 Pro offers better hardware and some better features than the OnePlus 8. 



The OnePlus 8 comes in three different colors; glacial green, interstellar glow, and a Verizon Wireless exclusive polar silver. Whereas the OnePlus 8 Pro comes in glacial green, onyx black and ultramarine blue.


💥Specifications for OnePlus 8:

The phone has a glass body, is 160.20 x 72.90 x 8.00 in dimensions and weighs 180 g. It has a punch-hole screen which is 6.5 inches tall, an excellent viewing experience is offered by the fluid AMOLED display. The pixels screen resolution is 1,080 x 2,340 and it has a 396 PPI pixel density. It is protected by a Corning Gorilla glass, which is scratch-resistant and also resistant to marks.

In terms of the optics, the smartphone houses a triple rear setup which includes 48 MP + 16 MP + 12 MP lenses as well as a 20 PM front camera lens. Suffice it to say that you can capture quite clear pictures from the phone. It has an octa-core setup which comprises 2.96GHz single-core,2.42GHz tri-core, 1.8GHz quad-core, Kryo 485 processors.

It is seated on Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset, therefore it is quite capable of handling the overall processing with great efficiency. There is an Adreno 640 GPU and it has an 8GB RAM. The smartphone has two nano-SIM slots. 



It supports 4G, wi-fi 802.11 and many more things. It offers an internal storage capacity of 128 GB but has an absence of a memory slot. The 4,000mAh Li-ion battery is more than enough to keep the phone running all day long. The operating system is Android 10. 


💥Now for specifications of the OnePlus 8 Pro: 

It runs on Android 10. It is powered by an Octacore processor i.e. 2.84 GHz, Single core, Kryo 585 + 2.42 GHz, Tri core, Kryo 585 + 1.8 GHz, Quad-core, Kryo 585. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Chipset. It has 8 GB of RAM and offers 128 GB in terms of storage.  

The Fluid AMOLED display offers a sharp and clear viewing experience. The screen resolution is 1440x3180 pixels with a 515 PPI Pixel density. It measures 165.3x74.4 mmx8.5 mm and is 199 g in weight. In terms of connectivity features, the smartphone offers WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, Volte, NFC and many more. 

The aspect ratio is 19.5:9. On the rear, the camera is 48+48+8+5 MP  and has features like fixed focus. On front. It is a 16 MP f/2.4 Primary camera. It has a 4510 mAh battery.

Both phones offer stunning picture quality and have lots to offer in terms of storage and other features. 

The phones will probably outstrip the recent apple iPhones but then again, they might not. If you have been waiting for this, I am sure you’re not going to be disappointed because so far, the phones sound amazing. Whether they actually can capture the audience or not, we’ll get to know once they come out in the market.
